And as the caravan set out (from Egypt), their father said (in Canaan): "Indeed I smell the fragrance of Joseph. I say so although you may think that I am doting." 94 They said, “By Allah, you are still deeply engrossed in the same old love of yours.” 95 But when the bearer of good tidings came [with Joseph's tunic,] he laid it over his face; and he regained his sight, [and] exclaimed: "Did I not tell you, 'Verily, I know, from God, something that you do not know'?" 96 They said, "Father, ask God to forgive our sins; we have certainly sinned". 97 He said, "I shall ask my Lord to forgive you; He is All-forgiving and All-merciful." 98 Then when they came in to Yusuf, he took his parents to lodge with him and said: Enter safe into Egypt, if Allah please. 99 He helped his parents to a couch and they all fell down on their knees before him. He said, "My father, this is the interpretation of my dream. My Lord has made it come true! He was kind to me when He let me out of prison and brought you from the desert after Satan had brought about discord between me and my brethren. My Lord is the best planner in achieving what He will; He is All Knowing, and Truly Wise." 100 ۞ "O my Sustainer! Thou hast indeed bestowed upon me something of power, and hast imparted unto me some knowledge of the inner meaning of happenings. Originator of the heavens and the earth! Thou art near unto me in this world and in the life to come: let me die as one who has surrendered himself unto Thee, and make me one with the righteous!" 101 These are tidings of the unseen that We reveal to you, [O Prophet], though you were not present with them when they plotted and agreed upon a plan. 102 Yet no faith will the greater part of mankind have, however ardently thou dost desire it. 103 And thou askest them not any hire therefor; it is but an admonition unto the worlds. 104
