In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts, 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 separating one from another, 4 And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts. 5 excusing or warning, 6 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 the living and the dead? 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 The heavens split asunder, 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
