Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven and the night-comer 1 And what will make you to know what At-Tariq (night-comer) is? 2 The star of piercing brightness; 3 For every soul there is a watcher. 4 Let the human being reflect that from what he has been created. 5 He has been created from an ejected drop of fluid 6 which comes out of the loins and ribs. 7 He certainly has the power to bring him back to life. 8 On the day when all secrets will be made public, 9 He will have no strength or helper. 10 By the rotating heavens 11 by earth splitting with verdure, 12 surely it is a decisive word; 13 and is not to be taken lightly. 14 They are planning a scheme, 15 and I too am devising a guile. 16 So grant the unbelievers a respite: let them alone for a while. 17
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
