Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

By the bright forenoon, 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 And indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires,] and thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
