Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The craving for excess wealth kept you people neglectful. 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 But no, indeed, you shall soon know. 3 Then no! You are going to know. 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 you shall surely see Hell; 6 And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then, on that Day, you will be called to account for all the bounties you enjoyed. 8
