1/2 Hizb 46

And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 We said to him, “Strike the earth with your foot; this cool spring is for bathing and drinking.” (A spring gushed forth when he struck the earth this was a miracle.) 42 And We gave him (back) his family, and along with them the like thereof, as a Mercy from Us, and a Reminder for those who understand. 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 (Muhammad), recall Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, all of whom possessed virtuous hands and clear visions. 45 We gave them this pure distinction because of their continual remembrance of the Day of Judgment. 46 And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best! 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 This is a Reminder, and verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) is a good final return (Paradise), 49 Gardens of Eden, whereof the gates are open to them, 50 Reclining on pillows, in it they ask for fruits and drinks in plenty. 51 ۞ And with them shall be those restraining their eyes, equals in age. 52 This is the promise being given to you, for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Truly such will be Our Bounty (to you); it will never fail;- 54 This (is for the righteous). And lo! for the transgressors there with be an evil journey's end, 55 hell will they have to endure - and how vile a resting-place! 56 Yea, such! - then shall they taste it,- a boiling fluid, and a fluid dark, murky, intensely cold!- 57 Taste the scalding water, pus, and other putrid things". 58 This is an army plunging in without consideration along with you; no welcome for them, surely they shall enter fire. 59 The followers will say, “In fact, for you! May you not get open space! It is you who brought this calamity upon us!” So what a wretched destination. 60 They say, 'Our Lord, whoso forwarded this for us, give him a double chastisement in the Fire!' 61 And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst? 62 [and] whom we made the target of our derision? Or are they here, and our eyes have missed them?" 63 Surely that is true -- the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire. 64

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
