Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 But does man not bear in mind that We have created him aforetime out of nothing? 67 Now, by thy Lord, We shall surely muster them, and the Satans, then We shall parade them about Gehenna hobbling on their knees. 68 and then We will draw aside from each party those who were most rebellious against the Most Compassionate Lord, 69 then We shall know very well those most deserving to burn there. 70 And there is none among you who shall not pass over hell; this is an obligatory affair, binding upon your Lord. (Allah will make everyone pass over the back of hell – on a thin bridge.) 71 Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 How many generations have We destroyed before them, who were far greater in riches and more boastful! 74 Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent Allah will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces 75 "And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return." 76 Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 Never; We shall now record what he says and give him a prolonged punishment. 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 They have taken other deities besides God, so that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
