The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
