Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 He (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 while you make merry? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
