Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed this [divine writ] on Night of Destiny. 1 And what could make thee conceive what it is, that Night of Destiny? 2 Better is the Night of Determination than a thousand months. 3 in hosts descend in it the angels, bearing divine inspiration by their Sustainer's leave; from all [evil] that may happen 4 Peace! (All that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allah to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn. 5
