And (make mention of) the day when the enemies of Allah are gathered unto the Fire, they are driven on 19 Until, when they reach it, their hearing and their eyes and their skins will testify against them of what they used to do. 20 They will ask their skins: “Why did you bear witness against us?” The skins will reply: “Allah gave us speech, as He gave speech to all others. He it is Who created you for the first time and it is to Him that you will be sent back. 21 When you used to conceal yourselves (while committing misdeeds) you never thought that your ears or your eyes or your skins would ever bear witness against you; you rather fancied that Allah does not know a great deal of what you do. 22 That then, the thought you thought about your Lord, has destroyed you, and therefore you find yourselves this morning among the losers.' 23 Then if they persist, the Fire shall be a lodging for them; and if they ask amends yet no amends shall be made to them. 24 ۞ And We have assigned them (devils) intimate companions (in this world), who have made fair-seeming to them, what was before them (evil deeds which they were doing in the present worldly life and disbelief in the Reckoning and the Resurrection, etc.) and what was behind them (denial of the matters in the coming life of the Hereafter as regards punishment or reward, etc.). And the Word (i.e. the torment) is justified against them as it was justified against those who were among the previous generations of jinns and men that had passed away before them. Indeed they (all) were the losers. 25
