Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
