Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Lo! the tree of Zaqqum, 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 Like dregs of oil, it will boil in their bellies 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 [It will be said], "Taste! Indeed, you are the honored, the noble! 49 This is that concerning which you were doubting.' 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 amidst gardens and fountains, 52 dressed in silks and brocade, set face to face. 53 Thus (shall it be), and We will wed them with Houris pure, beautiful ones. 54 They will be offered all kinds of fruits, in peace and security. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 And We have made it easy in thy language; they might haply be admonished. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting. 59
