The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the heaven and the Morning Star 1 Do you know what al-tariq is? 2 - The piercing Star! 3 There is no human being but has a protector over him (or her) (i.e. angels incharge of each human being guarding him, writing his good and bad deeds, etc.) 4 Let man consider what he was made of: 5 He is created from a water dripping, 6 That issued from between the loins and ribs. 7 He certainly has the power to bring him back to life. 8 The day all secrets are examined 9 Then he shall have no power nor any helper. 10 By oath of the sky from which comes down the rain. 11 And by the earth which splitteth, 12 the Quran is the final word, 13 And is not a matter of amusement. 14 They are devising guile, 15 but I too plan against them. 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
