The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
