O you who covers himself [with a garment], 1 Arise and warn 2 And your Lord (Allah) magnify! 3 cleanse your clothes, 4 And pollution shun. 5 Nor expect, in giving, any increase (for thyself)! 6 And for the sake of your Lord, patiently endure. 7 For when the Trump is sounded 8 Truly, that Day will be a Hard Day. 9 Far from easy for the disbelievers. 10 Leave Me Alone (to deal) with whom I created Alone (without any means, i.e. Al-Walid bin Al-Mughirah Al-Makhzumi)! 11 And to whom I granted extensive wealth 12 and children living in his presence, 13 I made things smooth and easy for him, 14 Yet he desires that I should give more. 15 Nay!
