Al-A'alaa

The All High (Al-A'alaa)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
