The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned? 51 All their deeds are recorded in their books: 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
