Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up your breast 1 and lift from thee thy burden, 2 The which did gall thy back?- 3 and granted you an exalted reputation? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 So, when you have finished (your prayer), labor (in supplication), 7 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
