Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 No weariness will come upon them, nor will they be sent away from there. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 and [also,] that the suffering which I shall impose [on sinners] will indeed be a suffering most grievous. 50 AND TELL THEM [once again] about Abraham's guests 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They said, "We have been sent forth to a guilty people." 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 Except his wife; We ordained that she shall surely be of those who remain behind. 60
