And when We put a revelation in place of (another) revelation, - and Allah knoweth best what He revealeth - they say: Lo! thou art but inventing. Most of them know not. 101 Say: "Holy inspiration has brought it down from thy Sustainer by stages, setting forth the truth, so that it might give firmness unto those who have attained to faith, and provide guidance and a glad tiding unto all who have surrendered themselves to God." 102 And assuredly We know that they say: it is only a human being who teacheth him. The speech of him unto whom they incline is foreign while this is Arabic speech plain. 103 Lo! those who disbelieve the revelations of Allah, Allah guideth them not and theirs will be a painful doom. 104 They only forge falsehood, who believe not in the signs of God, and those -- they are the liars. 105 Any one who, after accepting faith in Allah, utters Unbelief,- except under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in Faith - but such as open their breast to Unbelief, on them is Wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a dreadful Penalty. 106 That is because they preferred the worldly life over the Hereafter and that Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. 107 They are those upon whose hearts, hearing (ears) and sight (eyes) Allah has set a seal. And they are the heedless! 108 Assuredly, it is they, in the Hereafter, who will be the losers. 109 ۞ But (to) those who were victimised and left their homes and then fought and endured patiently, your Lord will surely be forgiving and kind. 110
