Al-Waaqe'ah 2 of 3
A company of the former peoples 39 And a multitude from the later generations. 40 As for the People on the Left: how miserable will be the People on the Left! 41 (They will be) in the midst of a Fierce Blast of Fire and in Boiling Water, 42 And shadow of black smoke, 43 neither cool nor good. 44 Surely they were before that made to live in ease and plenty. 45 and would persist in heinous sinning, 46 It was they who said, "Shall we be resurrected after we die and have turned into dust and bones? 47 "(We) and our fathers of old?" 48 Tell them, (O Prophet): “The earlier ones and the later ones 49 "All will certainly be gathered together for the meeting appointed for a Day well-known. 50 Then lo! ye, the erring, the deniers, 51 Shall surely eat of the tree of Az-Zqqum. 52 And shall fill therewith your bellies. 53 And upon it, you will drink the hot boiling water. 54 Drinkers even as the drinking of thirsty camels. 55 Such will be their dwelling on the Day of Judgment. 56 We created you, then why do you believe not? 57 Have you thought about what (sperm) you ejaculate? 58 Create him ye, or are We the Creator? 59 We have decreed death to you all, and We are not unable, 60 that We will change you and cause you to grow again in a way you do not know. 61 You have surely known of the first creation. Why then, will you not remember! 62 Just ponder over what you sow: 63 Do you give it its increase, or are We the giver? 64 If We so wished, We could have reduced your harvest to rubble, and you would have been left wonder-struck to exclaim: 65 crying, "We have been left to suffer loss. 66 nay, we are deprived [altogether]." 67 Have you considered the water that you drink? 68 Is it you that send it down from the clouds or We? 69 If We will, We would make it bitter, why then do you not give thanks? 70 Have you thought about the fire that you kindle. 71 Was it ye who made the tree thereof to grow, or were We the grower? 72 We have made it a reminder and provision for the travelers, 73 Glorify, then, (O Prophet), the name of your Great Lord. 74

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
