All that is on the earth is passing, 26 And the Face of your Lord full of Majesty and Honour will abide forever. 27 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 28 All those who are in the heavens and the earth ask of Him; every moment He is in a state (of glory). 29 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 30 Soon shall We settle your affairs, O both ye worlds! 31 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 32 O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authority shall ye be able to pass! 33 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 34 There will be sent, against you both, heat of fire and flash of brass, and ye will not escape. 35 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 36 And when the heaven will be rent in sunder and will become rosy like unto red hide. 37 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 38 On that day neither man nor jinni will be questioned of his sin. 39 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 40 All who were lost in sin shall by their marks be known, and shall by their forelocks and their feet be seized! 41 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? 42 (It will be said): “This is the Hell that the culprits had cried lies to. 43 They shall keep going back and forth between it and the extremely hot boiling water. 44 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 45

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
