The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By oath of those who harshly pull out the soul. (Of the disbeliever) 1 By the angels who release with gentle release. 2 And who glide with ease. 3 and the outstrippers (angels), outstripping, 4 and by those who regulate events. 5 One Day everything that can be in commotion will be in violent commotion, 6 There will follow it the subsequent [one]. 7 Hearts will pound loudly on that day, 8 Their eyes cast down. 9 They say: "Shall we go back to our original state 10 Even if we should be decayed bones? 11 They said: That then would be a return occasioning loss. 12 But verily, it will be but a single (Compelling) Cry, 13 And lo! they all shall appear on the surface. 14 Hast thou received the story of Moses? 15 Recall what time his Lord called unto him in the holy vale of Tuwa. 16 "Go unto Pharaoh - for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of what is right 17 And say to him: "Would you purify yourself (from the sin of disbelief by becoming a believer)", 18 and that I should guide thee to thy Lord, then thou shalt fear?"' 19 So Moosa showed him a magnificent sign. 20 Yet he belied and disobeyed. 21 and brusquely turned his back [on Moses]; 22 And he gathered [his people] and called out 23 Yet to a rich man, 24 Allah therefore seized him, in the punishment of this world and the Hereafter. 25 Verily herein is lesson for him who feareth. 26
