The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 What then, are your unbelievers better than those? Or do you have an immunity (written) in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 And Our command is only a fleeting one – like the batting of an eyelid. 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 Every matter, small and great, is on record. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
