Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

Children of Israel, remember the favours I have bestowed upon you, and fulfil the covenant that you made with Me. I shall fulfil the covenant I made with you. Fear Me alone. 40 And believe in what I have revealed, verifying that which is with you, and be not the first to deny it, neither take a mean price in exchange for My communications; and Me, Me alone should you fear. 41 And cover not Truth with falsehood, nor conceal the Truth when ye know (what it is). 42 And establish prayer, and give the poor-rate, and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ Command ye mankind to piety and forget yourselves, the while ye read the Book! Understand then ye not! 44 And seek assistance through patience and prayer, and most surely it is a hard thing except for the humble ones, 45 who know for certain that they will meet their Lord, and that they will return to Him. 46
