The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
CONSIDER those [stars] that rise only to set, 1 And [by] those who remove with ease 2 And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 And those who arrange [each] matter, 5 A Day shall come whereon the quaking will quake, 6 And the second followeth it, 7 On that day hearts beat painfully 8 [and] their eyes downcast... 9 They say: shall we indeed be restored to the first state, 10 even after we have been reduced to bones, hollow and rotten?” 11 They have said, "Such a resurrection will certainly be a great loss". 12 Surely they will need no more than a single stern blast, 13 And lo! they will be awakened. 14 Did the news of Moosa reach you? 15 Lo! His Sustainer called out to him in the twice-hallowed valley: 16 Go to Firon, surely he has become inordinate. 17 And say: 'Would you like to grow (in virtue)? 18 that I may direct you to your Lord and then you hold Him in awe?'” 19 So Moosa showed him a magnificent sign. 20 but the Pharaoh rejected it and disobeyed (Moses). 21 and brusquely turned his back [on Moses]; 22 And assembled (his council) and proclaimed, 23 and said, "I am your Lord All-Highest!" 24 So Allah seized him (and made him) an example for the after (life) and for the former. 25 Truly there is a lesson in this for those who fear (the consequences). 26

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
