The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
