Lo! for those who keep from evil are gardens of bliss with their Lord. 34 Then will We treat the Muslims like the criminals? 35 What is the matter with you then, how do you judge? 36 Or have you a Book through which you learn. 37 That you can surely have whatever you choose? 38 Or have We sworn a covenant with you which We are bound to keep till the Day of Resurrection, (a covenant requiring that whatever you ordain for yourselves shall be yours)? 39 Ask them: “Which of them can guarantee that? 40 Or, do they have associates? Then let them bring their associates, if what they say is true! 41 On the day when the Shin* will be exposed and they will be called to prostrate themselves, they will be unable. (Used as a metaphor) 42 Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. And they used to be invited to prostration while they were sound. 43 Leave those who reject the Quran to Me and I shall lead them step by step to destruction, without their being aware of it. 44 And I will grant them a respite. Verily, My Plan is strong. 45 Or, do you ask them for a wage, so that they are burdened with debt? 46 Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down? 47 So wait with patience for the Decision of your Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish, when he cried out (to Us) while he was in deep sorrow. (See the Quran, Verse 21:87). 48 Had it not been that favour from his Lord had reached him he surely had been cast into the wilderness while he was reprobate. 49 But his Lord had chosen him and He placed him among the righteous. 50 When those who deny the truth hear the admonition, they would almost cause you to stumble with their evil eyes; and they say, "He is certainly mad." 51 [Be patient:] for this is nought else but a reminder [from God] to all mankind. 52
