The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the morning hours 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
