The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
