۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 in a hidden Book 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 If he is among the near 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
