And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein 16 When the two receivers receive, sitting on the right and on the left. 17 He utters not a word, but there is a vigilant watcher at hand. 18 And the stupor of death will bring Truth (before his eyes): "This was the thing which thou wast trying to escape!" 19 And then the Trumpet was blown. This is the day of the promised chastisement. 20 And every soul shall come, and with it a driver and a witness. 21 (And the driver will say:) "You were oblivious of this, so we have removed the veil, and how keen is your sight today!" 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 (It will be said): 'Indeed, cast into Gehenna (Hell) every deviating unbeliever, 24 Hinderer of good, trespasser, doubter 25 and an idol worshipper. Throw him into severe torment". 26 ۞ His companion will say: Our Lord! I did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error. 27 Allah will say: wrangle not in My presence, and I had already proferred unto you the threat. 28 The sentence that cometh from Me cannot be changed, and I am in no wise a tyrant unto the slaves. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
