Lo, the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum 43 is food for the sinner. 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 Like the boiling of hot water. 46 (A voice will cry: "Seize ye him and drag him into the midst of the Blazing Fire! 47 "Then pour over his head the Penalty of Boiling Water, 48 Taste this; you who considered yourself the mighty, the honourable! 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 Verily the God-fearing will be in a place secure 51 amidst gardens and fountains, 52 Attired in fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 A grace from your Lord; this is the great achievement. 57 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue, that haply they may remember. 58 So wait thou [for what the future will bring]: behold, they, too, are waiting. 59
