The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful 1

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds - 2 the Beneficent, the Merciful; 3 the Master of the Day of Doom. 4 You alone we worship, and to You alone we turn for help. 5 Guide us to the straight path: 6 The way of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, not of those who have been condemned [by Thee,] nor of those who go astray! 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
