Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent Noah to his people, and he said: "O people worship God; you have no other god but He; for I fear the retribution of the great Day may fall on you." 59 The chiefs of his people said: verily we see thee in error manifest. 60 He said: 'O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the universe. 61 I convey to you the messages of my Lord and advise you; and I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 Does it seem strange to you that a reminder from your Lord should be sent to a man, from among you, to warn you so that you might receive mercy?" 63 But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the Ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people. 64
