As for those who belie Our verses, We will draw them on little by little, from where they cannot tell; 182 and I respite them -- assuredly My guile is sure. 183 Have they not reflected? No madness is in their comrade; he is naught but a plain warner. 184 Have they not contemplated the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and everything created by God, (to educe) that perhaps their own term is drawing to a close? In what lore after this would they then believe? 185 To such as Allah rejects from His guidance, there can be no guide: He will leave them in their trespasses, wandering in distraction. 186 They ask you about the Hour (Day of Resurrection): "When will be its appointed time?" Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (Alone). None can reveal its time but He. Heavy is its burden through the heavens and the earth. It shall not come upon you except all of a sudden." They ask you as if you have a good knowledge of it. Say: "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (Alone) but most of mankind know not." 187 Say: 'I have no power to profit for myself; or hurt, but as God will. Had I knowledge of the Unseen I would have acquired much good, and evil would not have touched me. I am only a warner, and a bearer of good tidings, to a people believing.' 188
