It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 to provide you and those for whose sustenance you are not responsible, with the necessities of life. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 And We sent the winds that relieve the clouds’ burden, therefore caused water to descend from the sky, then give it to you to drink; and you are not at all its treasurers. 22 And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And We have already known the preceding [generations] among you, and We have already known the later [ones to come]. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
