And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud. 26 And the jinn, We had created them afore of the fire of the scroching wind. 27 But when your Lord said to the angels: "I am verily going to create a human being from fermented clay dried tingling hard; 28 And when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 29 All the angels prostrated before Adam 30 Except Iblis (Satan); he refused to be among those who prostrated. 31 God asked him, "What is the matter with you, that you are not among those who have prostrated themselves?" 32 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am not the one to prostrate myself to a human being, whom You created from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud." 33 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 34 and the curse shall be on you till the Day of Judgement!" 35 He said: 'My Lord, reprieve me till the Day they are raised' 36 Allah said: "Then, verily, you are of those reprieved, 37 Until the Day of the time well-known." 38 He said: My Lord! Because Thou hast sent me astray, I verily shall adorn the path of error for them in the earth, and shall mislead them every one, 39 "Except Your chosen, (guided) slaves among them." 40 Allah said: this is the path leading unto Me straight. 41 verily, thou shalt have no power over My creatures - unless it be such as are [already] lost in grievous error and follow thee [of their own will]: 42 And lo! for all such, hell will be the promised place. 43 There are seven gates in it, and to each gate a portion of them has been allotted. 44

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
