Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 "Enter therein in peace and security!" -- 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 and that My chastisement is the painful chastisement. 50 And inform them of Ibrahim’s guests. 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 They said: We give you good news with truth, therefore be not of the despairing. 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 He said: what is your errand, sent ones? 57 They said: "Verily we have been sent to a guilty people 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 but his wife. We decreed that she should be amongst those who remain behind. 60
