VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 'In peace and security, enter them' 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 No weariness will come upon them, nor will they be sent away from there. 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 They said: "Fear not! We give thee glad tidings of a son endowed with wisdom." 53 He said: Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me?-- Of what then do you give me good news! 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 They said: "Verily we have been sent to a guilty people 58 (All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, 59 “Except his wife – we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60
