When the messengers came to Lot and his family, 61 He said: Lo! ye are folk unknown (to me). 62 They said: "Yea, we have come to thee to accomplish that of which they doubt. 63 We truly tell you that we have brought to you the Truth. 64 Leave the town with your family sometime during the night. Walk behind them and let no one turn around. Proceed as you are commanded." 65 And We made known to him this decree that the wrongdoers were to be utterly cut off in the morning. 66 And the people of the city came [unto Lot,] rejoicing at the glad tiding. 67 Said Lot: "These are my guests; do not put me to shame, 68 but be conscious of God and disgrace me not!" 69 They replied: 'Have we not forbidden you (the people of) the worlds' 70 Lot exclaimed in exasperation: "If you are bent on doing something, then here are my daughters." 71 By thy life, they wandered blindly in their dazzlement, 72 Therefore the scream overcame them at sunrise. 73 And We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of hard clay. 74 Verily, in all this there are messages indeed for those who can read the signs: 75 And indeed, those cities are [situated] on an established road. 76 Indeed there is a portent in this for those who believe. 77 The dwellers of the Thicket were harmdoers. 78 So we took vengeance on them; and lo! they both are on a high-road plain to see. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
