But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 Then cut off his aorta, 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 And verily We! We know that some among you are beliers thereof. 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 And indeed it is a certain Truth. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
