Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

THE AVARICE OF plenitude keeps you occupied 1 Till you reach the grave. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 And once again: Nay, in time you will come to understand! 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 For ye will behold hell-fire. 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
