And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 We brought them signs, but they turned away. 81 They used to hew dwellings in the mountains to live in security. 82 But the (Awful) Cry overtook them at the morning hour, 83 And all that they had done (for security) availed them nothing. 84 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except with truth, and the Hour is surely coming, so overlook (O Muhammad SAW), their faults with gracious forgiveness. [This was before the ordainment of Jihad holy fighting in Allah's Cause]. 85 For verily it is thy Lord who is the Master-Creator, knowing all things. 86 And indeed, We have bestowed upon you seven of Al-Mathani (the seven repeatedly recited Verses), (i.e. Surat Al-Fatiha) and the Grand Quran. 87 Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers). 88 and say, "I am, indeed, a plain warner," 89 such as We send down for those who are divisive, 90 Those who made the Quran into shreds. 91 By your Lord, We will question them all 92 About their deeds. 93 Proclaim then, what you are commanded and turn away from the unbelievers. 94 Surely We will suffice you against the scoffers 95 even against those who set up with God another god. Certainly they will soon know! 96 And well do We know that thy bosom is constricted by the [blasphemous] things that they say: 97 But glorify your Lord with His praise, and prostrate yourself: 98 and serve thy Lord, until the Certain comes to thee. 99
