And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. 80 And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away. 81 They used to hew dwellings in the mountains to live in security. 82 So the scream overcame them at morning. 83 and that which they had earned did not help them. 84 We have created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, for a genuine purpose. The Day of Judgment will certainly approach, so (Muhammad) forgive them graciously. 85 Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator. 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an. 87 Cast not thine eyes toward that which We have let classes of them to enjoy; and grieve not over them, and lower thy wing unto the believers. 88 and say: "Behold, I am indeed the plain warner [promised by God]! 89 Even as We sent down on the dividers 90 and who have broken the Scripture into fragments -- 91 So, by your Lord (O Muhammad SAW), We shall certainly call all of them to account. 92 For all that they used to do. 93 Promulgate thou that which thou art commanded, and turn away from the associaters. 94 Indeed We suffice you against these mockers. 95 Who place other gods besides God. They will come to know soon. 96 And well do We know that thy bosom is constricted by the [blasphemous] things that they say: 97 So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him]. 98 and worship thy Sustainer till death comes to thee. 99
