And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. 80 And We gave them Our communications, but they turned aside from them; 81 They used to hew out houses from the mountains and lived in security. 82 Then the shout took hold of them in the early morn. 83 So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn. 84 We have created the heavens and the earth and all that is between the two in accordance with the requirements of truth and wisdom. The Hour is surely coming. So overlook [their faults] with gracious forgiveness. 85 verily, thy Sustainer is the all-knowing Creator of all things! 86 And indeed We have given you seven verses that are repeated, and the great Qur’an. 87 Do not yearn for other people's property and wives and do not grieve (that they do not believe). Be kind to the believers. 88 And say: "I am indeed he that warneth openly and without ambiguity,"- 89 Even as We sent down on the dividers 90 [and] who [now] declare this Qur'an to be [a tissue of] falsehoods! 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 For all that they used to do. 93 So proclaim that which thou art commanded, and withdraw from the idolaters. 94 Lo! We defend thee from the scoffers, 95 Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know. 96 We do indeed know how your heart is distressed at what they say. 97 But you should glorify your Lord with praises, and be among those who bow in submission; 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
