Surely those who guard (against evil) shall have with their Lord gardens of bliss. 34 Shall We then treat those who have surrendered as We treat the guilty? 35 What is amiss with you? On what do you base your judgment [of right and wrong]? 36 Or have ye a book through which ye learn- 37 Surely therein you shall have whatever you choose! 38 Or you have oaths from Us, reaching to the Day of Resurrection that yours will be what you judge. 39 Ask then, which of them will stand thereof a surety? 40 Or have they associates if they are truthful. 41 On the day when the terrible torment approaches, they will be told (in a mocking way) to prostrate themselves, but they will not be able to do it. 42 Their eyes will be humbled, and humiliation shall spread over them for they were already ordered to prostrate themselves when they were undiminished. 43 Then leave Me Alone with such as belie this Quran. We shall punish them gradually from directions they perceive not. 44 And I do bear with them, surely My plan is firm. 45 Or are you asking them for some compensation so that they feel burdened with debt? 46 Or is the Unseen theirs that they can write (thereof)? 47 So wait with patience for the Decision of your Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish, when he cried out (to Us) while he was in deep sorrow. (See the Quran, Verse 21:87). 48 and who cried (for help) to his Lord, while imprisoned and helpless inside the fish. Had it not been for a favor from his Lord, he would have been left out in the open, deserving blame for his shortcomings. 49 But his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous. 50 Hence, [be patient,] even though they who are bent on denying the truth would all but kill thee with their eyes whenever they hear this reminder, and [though] they say: "[As for Muhammad,] behold, most surely he is a madman!" 51 And it is naught but a reminder to the nations. 52
