He it is Who sends down water (rain) from the sky; from it you drink and from it (grows) the vegetation on which you send your cattle to pasture; 10 And with it He grows for you corn, and the olive and the date-palm and the grape, and all kinds of fruits. Surely, in that is a sign for a people who reflect. 11 And He subjected the night and the day for you and the sun and the moon; and the stars are subjected to His command; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect. 12 And that which He has multiplied for you in the earth of diverse hues. Surely in that is a sign for a people who remember. 13 And He it is Who has made the sea subservient that you may eat fresh flesh from it and bring forth from it ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships cleaving through it, and that you might seek of His bounty and that you may give thanks. 14 And He cast on the earth firm mountains, lest it shake with you, and rivers and ways; so haply you will be guided; 15 And landmarks (too), and by the star they find a way. 16 Is He who creates as he who does not create? Will you not remember? 17 And if you would count the graces of Allah, never could you be able to count them. Truly! Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 18 Allah knows all that you conceal and all that you disclose. 19 Those whom they invoke besides Allah create nothing and are themselves created. 20 (They are) dead, not living. And they know not when they will be raised. 21

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
