And those that emigrated in God's cause after they were wronged -- We shall surely lodge them in this world in a goodly lodging, and the wage of the world to come is greater, did they but know; 41 even such men as are patient, and put their trust in their Lord. 42 And We sent not before thee any but men unto whom We Revealed; so ask ye the people of the admonition if ye know not. 43 With clear arguments and scriptures; and We have revealed to you the Reminder that you may make clear to men what has been revealed to them, and that haply they may reflect. 44 Can, then, they who devise evil schemes ever feel sure that God will not cause the earth to swallow them, or that suffering will not befall them without their perceiving whence [it came]? 45 Or that He would not seize them during their [usual] activity, and they could not cause failure? 46 Or that He will not punish them by giving them a fright? Indeed, your Lord is kind and merciful. 47 Have they not observed things that Allah has created, (how) their shadows incline to the right and to the left, making prostration unto Allah, and they are lowly? 48 To God bows everything in the heavens, and every creature crawling on the earth, and the angels. They have not waxed proud; 49 they fear their Sustainer high above them, and do whatever they are bidden to do. ۩ 50
